Luigi might not be the bravest hero in the Universe, but he has other skills that often go unnoticed…like making really nice, handmade birthday gifts for his friends.

There are two things that are negative about Super Mario Galaxy 2
1) Once you’ve completed it, you’ll never get that first time experience ever again. And that is very saddening.
2) I cannot see how this game can be topped. I just can’t. The only way this can go is to continue making Galaxy games.
Creative media should be THIS enjoyable - this is the pinnacle of what we as humans can produce.
Heard this twice in the same day a few weeks ago, but it’s such an odd word I didn’t forget it.
Today’s word is: ABLUTION
The act of washing or cleansing; specifically, the washing of the body, or some part of it, as a religious rite; The water used in cleansing; The rinsing of the priest’s hand following the Communion with, depending on rite, water or a mix of it and wine, which may then be drunk by the priest …

I would never have guessed that’s what that word meant from reading it.
Do you ever hear a word twice in a short space of time that you generally never hear being said?
Today’s word is: INFLECTION
In grammar, inflection or inflexion is the modification of a word to express different grammatical categories such as tense, mood, voice, aspect, person, number, gender and case. Conjugation is the inflection of verbs; declension is the inflection of nouns, adjectives and pronouns.

What a nice word.
Just… one of the best mashups ever.
I am wanting a news headline to be “Huge Frickin’ Volcanic Ash Cloud is Cool - the Earth is still alive” with a sub heading of “Some minor disruptions at airports caused by this NATURAL event”. For fu*ks sake, no one has died, stop acting like vultures, and waiting for someone to.
My big problem is that as much fun as it is, it’s still just another geeky shooter game, but I’ve figured out how to broaden it’s appeal and make it stand out from the pack, with just a simple name change.
1. Everyone knows that tentacles are the in thing for 2010, put it in the title.
2. Marcus, it’s just a nothing name, give him a strong regal name like Richard, then market them as the stars they are.
3. Gears of War is again just a poor title, it doesn’t explain enough about what people can expect from the game.
So with that in mind, I would release this title under the new name:
‘Dick and Dom vs The Underwater Alien Tentacle Monster Of Doom in Happy Wacky Space Chase (now with girls)’
Even though I have no background in marketing and sales, I’m betting it would sell like hotcakes.
Pretty cool 8-bit video :)
